Office Makeover

Hi guys! I recently gave my home and office makeover and I am excited to share my space with you. In today’s blog post I am going to walk you through the process, and I have also included a few links to where you can purchase these items if you’re looking to create a similar space in your home or office. 

I started by checking out Ikea to find the perfect desk and was fortunate to find this large, white, melamine tabletop on clearance. I am always looking for a deal and I grabbed this one for under $20! It is the Linnmon white tabletop that retails for $45, and I’m not sure why it was on sale. It looks great to me. I work out of my home when I am not out and about in client’s homes and need a space to spread out. I also do a lot of art and crafting so a large tabletop was a must!

Next, I found the base for the desk. One side had all drawers and another is a file cabinet with drawers. Both are different versions of the Alex drawer unit also from Ikea.

I found the artwork on Etsy which had the option to download and print. This type of artwork is an affordable way to add color and style to your space. I purchased them from BlueSkyWhimsy’s shop. The hardest part of choosing art is deciding which you like because there are so many great options out there.  The frames for the artwork are from Michaels.

I love these cork boards I found on Amazon! You can find a similar one for sale here. I found this chair and I am in love! It is so soft and comfortable. I found it at Costco, and if you’re a member too, this is the Uline chair. It moves up and down, which is good for me since I’m so short. 

I saved the best for last: paint color! I wanted to get away from gray and add some warmth to space, so I decided on Loggia from Sherwin Williams. My office is also in the basement so it tends to be a little cooler. Visually I like the warm, neutral color that Loggia provides. 

TaDa! The final office. I really like the white desk space so I can work with colors on it. It helps me keep my mind clear when working on color consultations as well.  Please let me know what you think by commenting down below!
